Restaurants reuse one shoot across printed menus, door signage, delivery marketplaces, and social stories — each channel crops differently. A hero dish shot at 1200 px loses crunch texture and steam detail when blown up for a window poster or printed A3 menu insert.
Channel-specific targets
Delivery apps: check each platform's current hero dimensions — upscale once to the largest.
Printed menus: aim for 300 DPI at final plate size (see our print DPI guide on the blog).
Social: 2×–4× from phone RAW or ProRAW exports prevents Instagram compression mush.
